Rudish Health is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Interim Vice President of Patient Financial Services (PFS). The Interim Vice President of Patient Financial Services (PFS) provides strategic and operational leadership for all hospital and physician billing functions across the organization.Position SummaryDefine and communicate the strategic direction for PFS; align cross-functional teams across hospital and physician billing operations.Collaborate with Revenue Cycle leadership to design and implement strategic plans, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational objectives.Lead financial planning, forecasting, and execution to ensure a cost-effective, efficient PFS organization.Oversee and drive improvement in clean claim rate performance, minimizing unbilled accounts receivable (A/R) days.Ensure robust claim follow-up processes to support timely and complete payer and patient collections.Approve and oversee insurance cash and adjustment posting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.Monitor and manage A/R trends by facility, payer, and other key dimensions; collaborate with Managed Care to resolve claim issues and denials.Position RequirementsBachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum 10 years of progressive senior leadership experience in a large, complex, multi-site health system overseeing Revenue Cycle or Patient Financial Services functions.Demonstrated success in strategic planning, operational excellence, and leading large, diverse teams.Proven capability in performance analytics, payer relations, and vendor management.Why Join Rudish Health?
