This role oversees workforce productivity, addresses operational issues, and ensures schedules and resources are aligned for optimal output.ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily operations in the refurbishment facility, ensuring production targets and deadlines are metMonitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coachingEnsure adherence to safety policies and regulations to maintain a safe workplaceReview and adjust schedules to maximize operational efficiencyAssist in scheduling and managing outside service calls performed by mobile techniciansMaintain quality control standards to ensure high-quality product outputResolve issues and anomalies in the production and refurbishment process quickly and effectivelyTrain new employees on equipment operation, industry standards and production and refurbishment proceduresPrepare and submit performance reports on production progress and challengesCoordinate with other supervisors and staff to optimize production techniques and workflowEnforce strict cleanliness standards in all work areasMonitor the use and inventories of materials and supplies, alerting management to shortagesAssist in the implementation of continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costsFoster a spirit of teamwork and unity among employees, encouraging a culture of performance and cooperationEnsure equipment and tools are in proper working order and arrange for maintenance as neededCommunicate effectively with management and other departments to align production with overall business goalsExemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standardsPerform any additional duties as assigned by managementQualifications18 years of age or olderEligible to work in the United StatesIntermediate/Highly proficient Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookMust have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving recordCommunicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile DevicesEffectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic meansPass a background check and drug screenEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidaysPhysical Activity/Working Conditions May Include:Ability to lift up to 70 poundsProlonged standing and walking in an indoor/outdoor environment as applicableMay need to reach with arms and grasp with handsMay need to push, pullMay need to crawl and crouch, at times, in confined tight spacesMay need to bend, stretch, squat, kneelMay need to climb and work at elevated heightsExposure to moderate and at times high noise levelsExposure to Biohazards and/or ChemicalsExposure to outdoor elementsBe able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarmsTasks may involve repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingersSpecific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)The pay rate listed on this post is what the company reasonably expects to pay for this position.
