Business Analyst
Job Title: Business AnalystLocation: OnsiteJob Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business needs, gathering and documenting requirements, and working closely with technical teams to deliver effective solutions. This role requires strong communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.Job Responsibilities:• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), General System Design (GSD), and Impact Analysis documents• Create Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, and Data Flow Diagrams using MS Visio• Facilitate meetings between business users, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements• Conduct requirement gathering sessions with end users and SMEs and document them properly• Perform business process modeling and develop data flow diagrams• Apply UML in a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment• Work closely with Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence teams• Conduct JAD sessions with stakeholders including management, vendors, and users• Work within SDLC and Agile methodologies• Design and review documents such as SRS, BRD, FSD, Use Case Specifications, and RTM• Support testing activities and ensure requirements are correctly implementedRequirements:• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role• Strong experience in requirement gathering and documentation (BRD, SRS, FSD)• Proficiency in MS Visio for process modeling and diagram creation• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies• Experience with UML, Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, and Data Flow Diagrams• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities• Experience in conducting JAD sessions and stakeholder meetings• Familiarity with tools like Requisite Pro or similar requirement management tools• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including BI and data teamsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in related field with experience is required
