This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing details, collaborating with teams, and taking ownership of projects from planning through execution.We're looking for a highly organized and motivated early-career professional to support the planning and execution of retail store projects across multiple brands.This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of experience who has had exposure to project planning, design documentation, or construction processes, and is looking to grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.What You'll Do:You'll play a key role in supporting store projects across the full lifecycle-from early design phases through construction:Project Planning & CoordinationSupport project planning from Design Development through Construction Drawings and Permit submissionTrack key milestones and timelines across multiple store projectsCoordinate updates between Design, Construction, Real Estate, and external partnersDocumentation & Process SupportOrganize and maintain project files, including drawings, plans, and approvalsTrack permit submissions, approvals, and status updatesManage document flow across shared systems (e.g., SharePoint or similar)Construction CoordinationMonitor progress updates and flag potential risks or delaysTrack milestones across both internal teams and external partners (including landlords)Support coordination of construction-related communications and updatesTeam & Administrative SupportAssist with preparing presentations and project materials for reviewsSupport scheduling, invoice tracking, and general coordination tasksWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone with project-based work experience who is ready to build on that foundation.You might be a great fit if you:Have 1-3 years of experienceHave exposure to project planning, design development, construction documentation, or permitting processesUnderstand or have worked with project milestones and timelinesAre highly organized and detail-orientedCan manage multiple tasks and follow through on deadlinesCommunicate clearly and work well across teamsAre proactive and take ownership of tasksKey Experience That Will Set You ApartExposure to design development, construction drawings, or permit processesExperience tracking project milestones across multiple stakeholdersExperience working with external partners (vendors, landlords, consultants, etc.)Familiarity with project documentation or shared file systemsProficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar tracking toolsWhy This RoleGain hands-on experience across the full retail store development lifecycleWork closely with design, construction, and real estate teamsBuild foundational skills in project planning and coordinationExposure to real-world construction and permitting processesRole DetailsSan Francisco-based (4 days onsite required)Contract role with potential to extendStandard full-time hoursWho This Is Perfect ForCandidates who:Have had some exposure to design, construction, or project planning environmentsEnjoy tracking details, timelines, and milestonesWant to grow in retail development, construction, or project coordinationAre comfortable working across multiple teams and prioritiesThis role is not focused on hands-on design or creative production-it's centered on coordination, organization, and supporting project execution.The target hiring compensation range for this role is $27 to $31/hr.
