Overview
In this role you drive the integration, verification, and validation of complex software-intensive systems in HWIL and laboratory settings. You act as a technical bridge across software, hardware, and test engineering to diagnose issues and support formal verification activities. You will independently troubleshoot across software, embedded systems, and test infrastructure while maintaining configuration control. This position offers the chance to impact system reliability and support mission-critical programs at Lockheed Martin. You join a cross-functional team focused on rigorous verification and continuous improvement.

ResponsibilitiesOwn integration, verification, and validation activities for complex software-intensive systems in HWIL environmentsTroubleshoot moderately complex integration problems across software, hardware, interfaces, and test infrastructureTranslate requirements into executable verification plans and testsLead troubleshooting efforts and communicate findings to software, hardware, systems, and leadership teamsMaintain configuration control and verification traceabilitySupport cross-functional reviews and system lifecycle activitiesWork with real-time embedded systems, test equipment, and lab infrastructureCollaborate in an Agile environment with Scrum/Kanban practices and issue tracking tools
Key requirementsFour+ years of experience in Integration and Test and/or system software verificationExperience tracing failures across software, hardware, interfaces, and test infrastructureAbility to distinguish software defects, hardware failures, configuration issues, and test-environment problemsAbility to translate requirements into executable verification activitiesIndependent troubleshooting leadership for moderately complex integration problemsClear communication of technical findings to diverse stakeholdersExperience maintaining configuration control and verification traceabilityStrong communicationIndependent problem solvingCross-functional collaborationLinux systems proficiencyHardware testing and embedded systems experienceHWIL experience with real-time embedded systems
