Position - Maintenance Technician
Location - Jefferson GA
Pay - $25 to $27 an hr.
Shift - Looking for someone flexible who can work Morning, afternoon and Night shift.

*About the Role*
In this vital role, you will support the maintenance and operation of building systems within a client facility. You will repair, maintain, and continuously improve the functionality of material handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the site.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues related to MHE, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
* Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
* Complete and accurately document preventative maintenance activities.
* Manage and maintain department inventory.
* Build strong working relationships with operational and maintenance teams.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
*Required Qualifications*
* Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
* Minimum 1 year of related maintenance experience and/or training.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Experience using powered and non-powered hand tools.
* Ability to troubleshoot issues and follow established procedures related to routine maintenance, repairs, preventive measures, emergency responses, coordination, and safety compliance.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, stooping, climbing stairs, and using ladders, with or without reasonable accommodation.
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Associate degree or higher from a vocational school or college in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
* 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
* Experience with MHE safety standards and OEM equipment.
* Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
* 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
* 2+ years of experience performing predictive and preventive maintenance.
* 2+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
* 2+ years of knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
* 2+ years of demonstrated commitment to workplace safety standards.
* 1+ year of experience troubleshooting and diagnosing MHE systems.
