Job Requisition ID #26WD98340Position OverviewThe Internal Communications Partner plays a key role in delivering clear, engaging employee communications that help teams understand Autodesk's strategy and priorities. You will support one or more product organizations, working closely with Communications Business Partners, Chiefs of Staff, and cross-functional partners to execute high-quality content across enterprise channels.This is an excellent role for someone who is curious, collaborative, and motivated to continuously improve their storytelling skills. You'll have access to a supportive Internal Communications Center of Excellence community, shared templates and playbooks, and AI-enhanced workflows to help elevate your craft.Day-to-day, your work will be roughly 40% execution, 30% strategy, and 30% responding to team needs.ResponsibilitiesWrite, edit, and publish employee-facing communications across Slack, email, SharePoint, and Autodesk's intranetMaintain an internal editorial calendar and manage Product Organization-owned communication channelsDevelop content for newsletters, announcements, leadership messages, and internal eventsUse generative AI tools responsibly to speed up drafting, explore messaging options, and improve claritySupport Product Organization All Hands and internal events (content, agendas, scripts, logistics)Translate complex business information into clear, accessible, engaging content to drive business goalsSurface Product Organization stories that highlight impact, customer value, and progressPartner with Communication Business Partners and Chiefs of Staff to ensure alignment to strategy and prioritiesApply communications playbooks, templates, and workflows for consistency and qualityWork with cross-functional partners (HR, Legal, Product, etc.) to gather information and approvalsMonitor performance using communications dashboards and channel analyticsUse insights to refine messaging and improve employee engagementParticipate in learning sessions, peer reviews, and shared practice forumsMinimum Qualifications5+ years in internal communications, employee communications, or related fieldsStrong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor content for different audiencesExperience creating internal communications across modern channels and platformsStrong organizational skills and the ability to lead multiple projects independentlyA growth mindset - curiosity, openness to feedback, and willingness to learn new toolsComfort experimenting with AI-assisted workflows (you don't need to be an expert; just open to it)A collaborative, low-ego approach and enthusiasm for helping make the work - and the team - betterPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting product, engineering, or operational teamsFamiliarity with change communications and employee engagement practicesExperience with analytics dashboards or measurement toolsPrior use of generative AI for drafting, research, or content planningThe Ideal CandidateClear, high-quality communications delivered reliably and on timeStrong relationships and trust with business partners, leaders, other communicators, and cross-functional stakeholdersDemonstrated improvement in channel engagement and employee understandingConsistent use of communications standards, templates, and AI-enabled workflowsMeaningful contributions to shared learning and the evolving practices of the Global Communications organizationLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $88,000 and $157,300. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
