These methodologies and processes are reinforced through our organization's externally accredited certifications, which include ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS), ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 IT Service Management Systems (SMS, corporate ITIL certification), ISO 27001:2005 Information Security Management System (ISMS), and CMMI-DEV Level 3.Job DescriptionJob Title: Project ManagerJob location: Sunnyvale, CADuration: 6+ Months Contract ExtendableJob Duties:Technical Project Manager to implement Questica Budget System (procured by the City)Coordinate City staff resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of the project (Implementation of the Questica Budget System).Develop project scope and objective, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityEnsure all deliverables are on time, within scope and within budgetEnsure resource availability and allocationEstablish clear and concise communication planReport status and escalate issues to City/Consultant management as neededCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationRequired Skills/Experience:Experience implementing Questica Budget System, preferably for another government agencyStrong understanding of municipal budgeting conceptsAbility to develop a detailed project plan to track progressKnowledge of appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costsAbility to measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniquesManage the relationship with the client and all stakeholdersAbility to effectively perform risk management to minimize project risksAbility to maintain relationships with third parties/vendorsFour year degree preferably in the fields of computer science or engineeringProven working experience as a project manager implementing technology projectsAdditional Skills/Experience:Solid technical background, with understanding or hands on experience in Budget System implementationsExcellent client facing and internal communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi tasking skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft ProjectPMP certificationExperience with a public sector agency
