With a fleet of 12 Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans, our mission is to that both our pets and groomers are in a clean, comfortable, and safe environment. We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Technician to join our team and ensure our vehicles and equipment remain in excellent working condition.ResponsibilitiesAs a Fleet Technician, you will ensure that all vehicles are in top working condition, performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain safe operations. You will be responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and repairs of our Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans and grooming equipment, ensuring they operate at peak performance. Your duties will include:Fleet Maintenance & RepairsPerform preventative and routine maintenance on a fleet of 12 Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans, including:Oil changesBrake pad replacementAlternator, battery, belt, pulley, and EGR valve replacementsAC repairs for both engine and grooming spaceDiagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues, performing or coordinating necessary repairs.Grooming Equipment MaintenanceMaintain and repair grooming equipment and the AC system that cools the pet grooming areas within the vans.Cleaning & DetailingOversee the cleaning and detailing of van interiors and exteriors, ensuring that they meet company standards.Inventory ManagementKeep auto maintenance supplies stocked and organized.Monitor and restock items such as oil, brake pads, and other necessary parts to ensure no disruptions in fleet availability.QualificationsProven experience in fleet management or automotive repair, particularly with Sprinter vans.Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics, diagnostics, and repair.Ability to maintain and repair electrical systems and AC units.Excellent organizational skills for tracking maintenance schedules and managing inventory.Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to fleet upkeep.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.BenefitsCompetitive salaryPaid time offHealth and wellness benefitsEmployer contribution to a retirement account Opportunities for professional developmentFour (4) tickets to a Cardinals gameTwo (2) tickets to a Blues game$60 monthly allowance for chiropractic, massage, mental health services or fitness center membershipIf you are a skilled mechanic with fleet management experience and a passion for keeping things running smoothly, we want to hear from you!Four Pretty Paws Mobile Pet Spa is an equal opportunity employer and encourages candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
