This role focuses on larger aerospace hardware in a high-mix machining environment and is ideal for candidates who take pride in precision finishing and quality workmanship. You'll be working on critical components such as housings and other complex aerospace hardware alongside experienced engineering and quality teams.ResponsibilitiesPerform deburring, polishing, and finishing operations on aerospace componentsRemove excess material, burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections per blueprints and discrepancy reportsDetermine appropriate deburring methods based on part condition, dimensions, and specificationsAssist with positioning and loading parts on equipmentInspect parts and verify finished work meets required tolerances and quality standardsInterpret blueprints, shop orders, and written instructionsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow good manufacturing practices and safety proceduresPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications (Must Have)Minimum 2 years deburring experience on aerospace componentsExperience using deburring machines, tools, and finishing equipmentExperience working on larger machined parts (not small punch-style components)Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specificationsStrong attention to detail and ability to inspect your own workPreferred3-5 years deburring/finishing experienceBackground polishing and inspecting precision machined aerospace hardwareStrong time management and communication skillsWork Environment & RequirementsHigh-precision aerospace manufacturing settingSafety-focused environment with PPE requiredAbility to handle and maneuver larger machined components
