Over three generations, we’ve honed our expertise to create meticulously made footwear that blends traditional shoemaking techniques with modern refinement.We open our flagship store in Nolita—a neighborhood known for its style, creativity, and cultural depth—we’re seeking an experienced and thoughtful Retail Store Associate to assist this next chapter of our retail journey.Position Overview:We’re seeking a passionate Retail Sales Associate to deliver exceptional service and drive sales in our new NYC brick-and-mortar location. As a brand ambassador, you’ll embody Viberg’s heritage, craftsmanship, and culture, sharing deep product knowledge and creating a personalized shopping experience for every customer.The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to personal growth. You’ll ensure customers leave satisfied, contributing to our store’s success and reflecting the attention to detail synonymous with Viberg Boot.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver one-on-one product consultations to guide customers through fit, material selection, and construction detailsSupport clients in building footwear wardrobes and navigating seasonal edits and exclusive dropsMaintain the visual presentation of the store to reflect brand standards of minimalism and craftsmanshipAssist in creating localized content and product feedback for internal product development teamsParticipate in training sessions on leather types, lasts, and construction methods to deepen product fluencyMaintain accurate client profiles and follow up with personalized outreach via email or textCollaborate with the Store Manager to implement and refine retail best practices and SOPsMonitor and report on sales KPIs and foot traffic trends in partnership with retail analytics toolsHelp plan and host in-store events, trunk shows, or product launches, reflecting our commitment to client engagementAct as a brand steward by sharing knowledge of Viberg’s heritage, manufacturing process, and commitment to quality Additional RequirementsStrong understanding of luxury retail or artisanal product categories (footwear, fashion, or design)Proven ability to build lasting client relationships and drive repeat businessComfort working with CRM tools or retail systems to track client preferences and sales historyDetail-oriented with an eye for visual merchandising and store upkeepFlexible availability including weekends, holidays, and peak sales periodsA personal interest in footwear, craftsmanship, or fashion is a strong assetExperience working in a premium or boutique retail environment preferredAbility to maintain composure and deliver exceptional service under pressureCollaborative mindset, able to work fluidly as part of a small, dedicated teamExcellent PC skills: POS Systems and Microsoft Office.Moderate Lifting (30-40 lbs.)
