Web Developer

We are currently seeking a Web Development professional and Media Designer with experience in WordPress, HTML5, CSS, Graphic Design, and Motion Graphics video creation. Location: Reading, PA The Fun Stuff The epic things you'll be working on: Required to create or choose an approach or procedure from a variety of complex options for addressing a work task. Works independently to develop web portals, code as well as test development efforts. Presents all work in design review and code review sessions to team members as needed, and must be able to explain and support decisions made and actions taken. Produce Motion Graphics video using Adobe After Effects. Produce Live Action Video using Adobe Premiere Pro. Performs Graphic Design functions. Produce Marketing Brochures and materials as requested. Interfaces with Sales and Marketing, and senior management to clarify requirements. Assists other members in a team environment. Evaluates and plans site designs, test results and related materials. Reviews literature and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects. Programs new web portals and applications and support those applications under development and the customization of current applications. Supports existing web applications and new web applications under development. Displays knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty. Displays knowledge of, and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills. Analyzes and determines integration needs. Displays in-depth knowledge of, and ability to apply, project management skills. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Working with Vendors to support web applications and environments Engineering and Deployment of web portal improvements. Deliver patching and system performance enhancements to new, under development, and existing web portals and related applications. The Right Stuff Some of the qualities we like to see in our team members: Web Development with WordPress or other CMS is preferred. Strong development experience using HTML5, CSS, PHP, and related web languages. Experience in Graphic Design is preferred. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred. Experience with various web development tools and IDE environments. Understanding of fundamental web service technologies including API utilization and REST. Understanding the basics of Windows/Linux operating systems. Experience with Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL is preferred.
