$3000 Sign-On Bonus$500 at 90 days & $2500 at 1 yearPosition DescriptionTitle: Production Maintenance TechDepartment: MaintenanceReports to: Maintenance ManagerStatus: Non-Exempt HourlyPosition Purpose: Provides maintenance support for the plant.Principle AccountabilitiesInstalls, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment including replacing motors, relays, and switches on varied machinery up to and including three phases 480-volt energy.Performs preventive maintenance and maintains records to ensure safe, reliable equipment.Serves as point person for production personnel in regard to preventative maintenance and problem equipment troubleshooting.Diagnoses and repair forklifts, pumps, hydraulics, and other related equipmentMaintains and refills parts inventoryProvides prompt response to and resolution of unplanned equipment failures resulting in production down time.Effectively communicates with machine operators and supervisors including equipment issues and safety concerns and in fractions.Properly utilize Personal Protective EquipmentAbility to troubleshoot and resolve issuesRelated tasks as requested by supervisor.Essential Skills and Experience5+ Years in Industrial Maintenance required.Extensive knowledge troubleshooting and issue resolution of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, circuitry, PLC, AC/DC drives, and welding fabrication required.Intermediate math and computer skills and English written communication skills necessary.Demonstrates proper usage of personal protective equipmentAbility to stand for extended periods of time, lifting up to 70 lbs., and work in hot environments on a constant basis.Ability to meet objectives and deadlines with minimum supervision required.
