Client Relations Specialist
Position Title: Client Relations SpecialistLocation: Bergen County, NJ Overview:A well-established mid-size law firm is seeking a Client Relations Specialist to act as a key point of contact for clients throughout their engagement. This role focuses on delivering high-quality service, managing communications, and supporting case progression in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, and other channelsProvide timely, accurate updates regarding case status, next steps, and documentation needsConduct outbound follow-ups related to documentation, medical records, and case updatesMaintain detailed and accurate records within a case management/CRM systemMonitor and manage communication queues (calls, emails, tasks) to ensure timely resolutionCoordinate with internal teams and external partners on referrals and case handoffsEscalate complex or sensitive client concerns appropriatelyEnsure compliance with confidentiality standards and firm guidelinesMeet performance metrics including response times, call handling, and quality standardsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred2+ years of experience in client services, call center, or professional services environmentLegal industry experience is a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience managing high-volume calls and emailsFamiliarity with CRM or case management systems preferredSkills & Competencies:Client-first mindset with strong interpersonal skillsAbility to handle sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathyStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environmentTeam-oriented with a collaborative approach
