You will have the opportunity to lead, learn, and litigate β€” all while making a profound impact on people's lives.This is not just a legal job. It's a calling for attorneys who want to leave a legacy in immigration law.RequirementsA licensed attorney in U.S. and a member of the New Jersey Bar Association1-3 years of experience in removal defense and bond representationBilingual in English and Spanish (strongly preferred)Based in New Jersey with the ability to appear in person for court, client meetings, ICE presentations in NJ, NY and PAA strong writer, confident litigator, and tireless advocateDeeply aligned with immigrant rights and social justiceComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environmentTo have a reliable vehicle is a mustWhat You'll DoRepresent clients in Master Calendar, Bond, and Individual Hearings, as well as Clear Fear Interviews and BIA appeals. Develop removal defense strategies, including Cancellation of Removal, Asylum, and Adjustment of StatusReview immigration court packages and humanitarian visa applications (VAWA, SIJS, U, and T Visas) to ensure they meet firm and USCIS standardsAssist in training paralegals on evidence organization and court preparationParticipate in "Consultation Day" events to evaluate case eligibility and explain legal options.
