Join us and be part of a company where your impact truly matters.What You'll Do as an Assistant Maintenance Technician:We're looking for an experienced Assistant Maintenance Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. In this role, you will:Assist with completing daily service requests for residentsSupport the team with unit make-readies and apartment upgradesPerform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and pool repair/upkeepWork closely with the Lead Maintenance Technician on assigned projectsHelp maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning communityParticipate in the on-call rotation as scheduledUse and maintain your own tools in a professional mannerProvide exceptional customer service to residents and coworkersWhat We're Looking For:To be successful in this role, you MUST have:Minimum 2 Years apartment maintenance experience in the multifamily industryValid HVAC License REQUIREDStrong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools, and general repairsStrong troubleshooting and time-management abilitiesA personal set of basic hand toolsWillingness to work on-call as scheduledA positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a teamBilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not requiredValid Driver's License and reliable transportationImportant: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.Working Environment:This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance. Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed.
