Warehouse Shipping Logistics Coordinator
Logistics Coordinator –
Job Duties:
Ø To assist the supply chain department with coordinating the movement of seed up via our online TMS (Transportation Management system) up to and including:
· LTL (Less than Load pallet qty’s) from La Crosse Seed Distribution centers to customers.
· Full Truckload – both inbound/outbound/Transfer & Direct customer shipments.
· Intermodal inbound shipments
· Small Parcel
Ø Update and Maintain our TMS ShipperEdge software
Ø Analyze Freight spend & forecasting
Ø Assist Supply Chain manager with Carrier relations
Ø Analyze carrier lead times to help calculate Stocking requirements for stock inventory.
Ø Use data to support recommendations for supporting core logistics functions.
Ø Be the main contact point for all logistic questions (freight quotes, lane history, logistic recommendations, etc)
Ø Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with vendors & DLF colleagues while promoting company initiatives and values
Ø Update and maintain freight KPI’s (key performance Indicators) such as on time percentage, damage claim percentage, average cost per lane, etc.

Requirements:
Ø Be Comfortable using Microsoft office products.
Ø Be able to work in an office setting.
Ø Some travel periodically as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
