We are serving long-term sustainable trends.Our Business LineEcoservices provides sulfuric acid regeneration, virgin sulfuric acid, treatment services, and much more.What We Have To OfferCompetitive payFull benefit package starting day 1401k matchingTuition ReimbursementPosition OverviewThe Process Optimization Manager is responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of chemical processes.What You Will Be DoingActively promote HSE and regulatory compliance initiativesWork with Ops & Mtc to optimize production and efficiency, utilization of CAPEX, and minimize FMC, VMCManages Capital Project list and prioritiesServe as Site Process Safety Coordinator and the Site PSM focal point; a final backstop on all site MOCs[NR1.1]Lead efforts at unit to drive technology enhancements, innovation and process automationDrive closure of action items related to PHA and Audit findingsDirect Manager of Process Improvement Engineers (2 Direct Reports)Training, development and knowledge transfer for Operators, Engineers, and managersDrive Implementation of SUMO / CPT / TSIP practices in Acid UnitsSupport Implementation of MI/TPM Initiatives to achieve Target OST and OEEAnalyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problemsAnalyze Unit Variable Manufacturing Costs for control and drive appropriate improvementParticipates in panel discussions, and debates. Speaks extemporaneously on a variety of subjects to employees within the company.Enforce all plant policies, procedures, and HSE Expectations for Leaders and EmployeesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university preferably in chemical engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Min of 7 - 10 years in chemical process industry with background emphasis in production processes, inventory, and shipping activities.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsWill utilize shop math including practical application of fractions, percentages ratio and proportionsProficient with Aspen and Power BI suite of software tools for modeling and optimizing operations.Comfortable with standard office computer packages, i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Project, etc.Proficiency in SAP and other Enterprise Resource Planning software.High proficiency in process monitoring software, such as Aveva PIAbility to obtain a Transportation Worker’s Identification Credentials (TWIC)Schedule: 8 Hour Days / 5 Days per Week 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; or 9/80 work schedule ~ M-Th 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Fridays alternate 1 off and the other 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM On call rotation
