The Field Engineer will be responsible for verifying instrumentation and electrical documentation, updating drawings, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring audit readiness in compliance with project standards.Job DescriptionCoordinate consolidation and updates of Cause & Effect diagrams across multiple project phasesConduct field verification activities to ensure alignment between existing documentation and conditionsInteract with project and engineering teams to ensure compliance with established standardsPrepare documentation and systems for audit readinessUpdate remaining control panel drawings, ensuring all inputs and outputs are accurately capturedRevise CAD files and update associated PDF documentationRemove Emergency Shutdown (ESD) push button references from panel drawings as requiredPerform electrical field verification of one-line diagrams for the facilityVerify and confirm naming consistency across documentation for PDCs, MCCs, and VFDsSkills RequiredExperience as an I&C Field Engineer, Instrument Engineer, or similar roleBackground in asset verification and field documentation updatesAbility to read, interpret, and update engineering drawings and diagramsFamiliarity with CAD systems and technical documentation controlAbility to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writingStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently in the fieldEducation/Training/CertificationsBachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related disciplineEquivalent work experience may be consideredAdditional RequirementsWillingness to travel to the site up to two days per weekAbility to perform field verification work for short-duration site visits (1-2 weeks for electrical verification tasks)Pay Rate/SalaryPay Rate: $55 /hr (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.)
