This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated bankruptcy and restructuring matters at the intersection of complex litigation and high-level transactional work. The practice is known for advising debtors, creditors, committees, and other stakeholders in high-stakes restructurings across a wide range of industries.Candidate ProfileJD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in the applicable jurisdiction (PA, NY, TX, or CA), in good standing3-5+ years of substantive experience in business reorganization, financial restructuring, or commercial bankruptcy mattersMeaningful experience handling both litigation and transactional aspects of sophisticated bankruptcy casesStrong writing, research, and analytical skills, with the ability to draft complex pleadings and transactional documentsDemonstrated aptitude for client interaction and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a teamProven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while managing multiple prioritiesDetail-oriented, highly organized, and solutions-focusedLarge law firm experience strongly preferredKey ResponsibilitiesRepresent debtors, creditors, committees, and other parties-in-interest in complex Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructuringsHandle a broad range of bankruptcy litigation matters, including contested motions, adversary proceedings, and negotiationsAdvise clients on restructuring transactions, including asset sales, financing arrangements, and plan-related mattersDraft and review pleadings, motions, disclosure statements, plans of reorganization, and transactional documentsCollaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver comprehensive restructuring solutionsEngage directly with clients and opposing counsel while helping to manage matters efficiently and strategicallyWhy Join Us?This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly respected restructuring practice that handles some of the most complex and high-profile financial matters in the market.
