High School Receptionist / Health Aide
Job Title Receptionist, Attendance Specialist, & Health Aide Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience as a receptionist (preferred) Knowledge in Google and Microsoft products (preferred) Integrity and professionalism Ability to respond effectively to the needs of a diverse student population Ability to collect and analyze data Ability and willingness to develop and maintain effective and positive relationships with students, teachers, parents, administrators, and staff Training in a medical field (preferred) Reports To: High School Assistant Principal Responsibilities Receptionist: Perform regular office duties, including: greeting parents, students, teachers, substitutes, etc. in the front office, answering the main phone line, transferring calls, taking messages, making copies, sorting mail, using fax machine, typing, using internet, etc. Receive and enter payments Take student and staff pictures and print ID badges Perform any other related duties as required Attendance: Assist in PowerSchool attendance taking and reports Oversee the tracking and communication of attendance with teachers and parents/guardians Follow district procedures for student attendance and truancy Perform any other related duties as required Health Aide: Oversee student vision and hearing screenings Manage student health plans Provide minor student health and first aid care, such as taking temperatures and blood pressures, providing OTC and prescription medications, etc. Terms of Employment: 32-40 hours a week/11 months. Salary established by the Governing Board. Employee benefits in accordance with district policies.
