Full Stack Developer Location: Remote/Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time About USBC CEDC The US Black Chambers Community Economic Development Corporation (USBC CEDC) supports the financial education and training needs of the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC), a national network of Black Chambers of Commerce committed to providing visionary leadership and advocacy in the realization of economic empowerment. About the Role USBC CEDC is seeking a highly motivated, professional, and innovative Full Stack Developer to join the team at ByBlack.us. In this role, you will design and build robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications, contributing to both front-end user experience and the back-end systems that power the platform. Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills are essential, as you will work closely with developers, product management, and business stakeholders in a team-oriented environment. Examples of Work This Role May Include Integrating user payment functionality and developing dashboards that manage personal and private user data Building automated workflows using custom LLMs to analyze and review customer data Working with external APIs to develop a marketplace where entrepreneurs can sell or market products directly on the platform, including observability and system health monitoring Designing and maintaining messaging systems between business owners and internal administrators Key Responsibilities Collaborate with development and product teams to ideate and implement software solutions Design and develop client-side and server-side architecture Build responsive, visually appealing front-end applications Develop mobile-friendly features and applications Build, manage, and maintain well-functioning databases and effective APIs Test software to ensure responsiveness, reliability, and efficiency Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade applications as needed Maintain strong security and data protection standards across applications Prepare and maintain clear and accurate technical documentation Required Qualifications Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role Experience developing device-responsive web applications Extensive knowledge of React and JavaScript (experience with React Router and/or Next.js is a plus) Strong design mindset with solid knowledge of CSS (experience with Sass is a bonus) Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and serverless computing environments Working knowledge of back-end languages including Python and Node.js Experience with MongoDB or other non-relational databases Familiarity with integrating emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and agentic systems Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills Minimum of 4 years of experience as a software engineer Equal Employment Opportunity & ADA Statement USBC Community Economic Development Corporation (USBC CEDC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
