Procurement Technician
The essential function of the position within the organization is to perform a variety of highly responsible and complex clerical, financial, and administrative duties for various County departments/offices. The position is responsible for coordinating assigned procurement, clerical, and administrative functions, preparing reports, and performing related tasks as required. The position works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.
This position shall be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires an Associate Degree or the equivalent of two years of college or vocational school education in office management, clerical studies, or closely related field.
Requires a Florida driver's license.
May be asked to obtain a designation as a Certified Professional Public Buyer.
