Lead the team, keep the hotel running strong, and make every stay seamless as our next Chief Engineer.We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Chief Engineer.What will you be doing most days?Respond to guest requests in a timely manner and provide great guest servicePerform preventative maintenance duties and procedures as neededLead a team of Building Maintenance Tech I and II to complete tasks as assigned by the Computerized Maintenance Management System (QUORE). Perform a variety of tasks assigned by the Assistant General Manager and General Manager. Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting projectsOversee all 3rd party outside contractorsRespond to emergency situations promptlyAlways maintain a professional appearanceComplete other duties as assignedWhat are the requirements for this position?You have been currently working as a Building Maintenance Tech/Engineer for at least 2 years or at least 4-5 years of experience in a related fieldYou are currently managing at least one subordinateYou have proficient knowledge of hand tools and maintenance dutiesYou have time management capability to accomplish work within established parametersYou have a customer service focus and the ability anticipate guest needsPhysical Requirements For This PositionThis is a physically demanding position.
