EES Validation Technician
Job Title: EES Validation TechnicianLocation: San Antonio, TexasOnsite/ Remote: Day 1 Onsite at customer locationJob Description: EES Validation TechnicianSkills: Electrical vehicle Automotive Systems & ICE, wire harness, Vector CANalyzer, Pico Scope, NexiQ, Somat, Dewsoft, and LabView, CDL license, lift vehicles using ARI-Hetra Mobile Lift Column, Safety Protocolstesting environment to include Cold/Hot chamber, dyno, and wind tunnel with ASE Certification.Requirements/Capabilities:Five plus years of Automotive Dealership Technician Experience to include ICE and EV Automotive SystemsPrepare, maintain, troubleshoot, inspect, and tests prototype and current product class 5-8 trucks and buses.Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems and trouble shooting.Preferred experience in both Hybrid and EV vehicle diagnostics.CDL license to drive school bus and heavy truck would be most helpful.Ability to proficiently work from schematics, diagrams, verbal, and written instructions.Responsible for electrical harness installation and modification.Create test harnesses and instrument a vehicle for testing.Use oscilloscope, digital voltmeter, current probes to make measurements.Preferred experience utilizing Vector CANalyzer, Pico Scope, NexiQ, Somat, Dewsoft, and LabView to collect and analyze data.Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Teams Chat.Understanding Electrical Circuits and ComponentsWiring and Soldering SkillsTest Tech Experience Request (preferred):Must be self-motivated, team player willing to learn new skill sets.Must be able to safely setup and lift vehicles using ARI-Hetra Mobile Lift Column Lifts.Must be able to use industry standard mechanic tools such as impacts, torque wrenches, power probes, soldering iron, electrical crimping/depinning tools. (Required to pull door panels, seats, headliners, etc....)CDL license to drive school bus and heavy truck would be most helpful.ASE Certifications would be helpful.Experience in a testing environment to include Cold/Hot chamber, dyno, and wind tunnel.Use the Cummins InSite/Cal-Term tools to read, store, and write ECM and ACM calibrations.Use the Allison service tools to read, store, and write TCM calibrations.
