Speech Language Pathologist

Serve as Speech Language Pathologist in Crawfordsville Community School CorporationRequirements:● Provide a therapeutic program to meet individual needs of students with disabilities in the areas of speech and language.● Cooperate with classroom teachers and staff members to implement therapy.● Assist and guide teachers in observing, describing and referring suspected and identified speech and language impairments.● Provide screening and/or evaluation to identify speech and language needs for students.● Assist with referrals of students to agencies and specialists as appropriate.● Write, implement and regularly monitor Individual Education Plans (IEP) for students.● Serve a Teacher of Record or Teacher of Service in accordance with Article 7.● Participate in case conference committee meetings as students' teacher to assist in developing measurable goals, benchmarks, and objects to meet student needs.● Provide in-service education and serves as a consultant to teachers and school staff members on topics concerning speech improvement.● Maintain detailed service records● Perform duties related to School Based Medicaid Reimbursement● Perform other reasonably related duties as may be assigned by the director of special education or building principal.Certification Requirements:● Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology● Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred● Appropriate licensure from IDOE and IPLA
