We are offering $1,000 sign-on bonus to join our team!Why you'll love working with usFlexible schedules that fit your lifeCompetitive pay - starting wages of $18 - $20/hour (varies based on hours, service type, location, and experience)Paid training and career growth opportunitiesHealth benefits, paid time off, and cash bonusesMileage reimbursementWork that truly matters - helping people live with dignity and independence40+ years of trusted care experienceVeteran-friendly employer - we value your service and skillsWhat you'll doAs a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities - both at home and in their community - helping them live as independently as possible.Your work may include:Reading, understanding and following the client's Individual Support Plan (ISP), and reporting back to the IDD Program SpecialistSupporting individuals with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care (i.e. grooming, hygiene etc.), or transportationEncouraging participation in social and community activities - shopping, social events etc.Helping people achieve personal goals and celebrating progressPromoting choice, independence, and self-advocacyAccurately documenting care, activities, and progressCommunicating with team members to ensure consistent, quality supportWhat you needHigh school diploma or equivalent; or completion of a state approved training program; or demonstrate skills and receive a passing score on a written competency testSuccessful background check and required in-service trainingsAt least 18 years oldValid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance, inspection and registrationAbility to work safely and respectfully in clients' homes and communitiesCompassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact$1,000 sign-on bonus is valid for applicants effective 1/1/2025. Sign-on bonus is paid in two increments: $500 is paid after the caregiver has worked 500 hours from the start date and another $500 is paid out after the caregiver has worked 1,000 hours from the start date. Caregiver must be active at the time of bonus payout and be at a minimum of an 85% electronic visit verification to receive the sign-on bonus. Bonuses will be paid within 30 days of reaching eligibility. New caregivers as well as previous caregivers who have not worked for Help at Home since prior to 1/1/2024 will be eligible for the bonus. Caregivers transferring from an organization within the Help at Home, LLC portfolio of companies are not eligible to receive the bonus.Data Security and Privacy StatementAt Help at Home, we prioritize protecting your personal information during the hiring process.
