This role supports daily culinary operations by following recipes, maintaining proper food safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring timely service for guests. The Line Cook works collaboratively with the culinary team to deliver a high-quality dining experience while keeping their station clean, organized, and fully stocked. The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, and passionate about food and hospitality.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelinesSet up and stock assigned station with all necessary supplies prior to serviceMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all timesEnsure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner to meet service standardsFollow all food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulationsMonitor food quality and report any issues to the Chef or Kitchen SupervisorAssist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory using FIFO practicesWork collaboratively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient operationsMaintain proper portion control and minimize food wasteAssist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and equipment maintenanceQualificationsPrevious experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferredBasic knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standardsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructionsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysTeam-oriented mindset with strong communication skillsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsFood Handler Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) preferred
