Electronics Assembler
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electronic components and systems with precision and adherence to technical specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electronics assembly processes, including surface mount technology and electrical wiring, and will contribute to the production of high-quality electro-mechanical products. Responsibilities
Assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) using hand tools, soldering equipment, and surface mount technology techniques.
Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate component placement and wiring.
Build electrical panels and electro-mechanical assemblies following detailed schematic diagrams and blueprint specifications.
Conduct soldering operations in accordance with IPC 610 standards, ensuring high-quality electrical connections.
Use testing tools such as ohmmeters to verify circuit integrity and troubleshoot assembly issues.
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot assembly problems and implement corrective actions.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Assist in the development of process improvements related to electronics assembly procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience in electronics assembly, including PCB soldering, surface mount technology, and electrical wiring.
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical schematic reading, and blueprint specifications.
Proficiency with hand tools, soldering equipment, and testing devices such as ohmmeters.
Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies is highly desirable.
Experience with electrical panel building, mechanical assembly, and electro-mechanical component integration.
Ability to troubleshoot engineering issues related to electrical or mechanical assemblies effectively.
Basic machining skills are a plus for component handling or fixture adjustments.
Attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity and organizational skills.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.11 per hour
