Interventional Radiology Location: Richmond, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,366 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Special Procedures Tech Profession: Radiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RT-R Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Current IR experience Description: This position is within the Interventional Radiology unit. The unit has 4 holding spaces. When fully staffed, there are 5 RNs, 4 Technicians, and 1 Patient Care Technician. The staff consists of 2 RNs, 3 Technicians, and 1 Patient Care Technician on the day shift. Night shift requires staff to be on call. The patient-to-staff ratios will vary according to the unit's needs. The equipment includes Phillips Biplane. The EMR system used is Meditech. The unit performs various procedures including PICC lines, C-lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, embolizations, filter placements, and neuro biopsies. The ideal candidate should be a multi-tasker. The ability to easily adjust to change is essential. Team players are encouraged to apply. A friendly demeanor is preferred. Dress code will consist of hospital-provided scrubs.
