The Security Supervisor plays an important leadership role in maintaining a secure and professional environment across the property while supporting daily operations and guest experience.This role oversees security team members, monitors property safety procedures, and ensures that all safety protocols and emergency procedures are followed in accordance with Makeready standards.Required TasksSupervise daily activities of the security team and provide leadership and guidance during assigned shiftsMonitor the property to ensure the safety and security of guests, team members, and facilitiesRespond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, and guest concernsConduct regular patrols of guest areas, back-of-house spaces, parking areas, and surrounding property groundPrepare incident reports and maintain accurate documentation of security-related activitiesEnsure compliance with all safety procedures, emergency protocols, and company policiesAssist with investigations related to safety or security incidents as neededSupport training and development of security team membersCoordinate with property leadership and local authorities when necessaryMaintain security equipment and systems including cameras, alarms, and access controlsProvide assistance to guests when needed while maintaining a welcoming and professional presenceAdhere to Makeready’s Guiding PrinciplesPerform additional duties and assignments as requiredRequested CapabilitiesPrior experience in hotel security, hospitality security, or a related security field preferredPrevious supervisory or leadership experience preferredStrong understanding of safety procedures and emergency response protocolsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situationsStrong attention to detail and situational awarenessProfessional and service-oriented demeanorAs part of the Makeready collection, we proudly offer a variety of thoughtful benefits and perks for eligible team members including accommodating PTO/PTO exchange, medical/dental/vision benefits, maternity/paternity leave, pet insurance, company-matched dependent care & 401k, student loan repayment program and a wide range of additional ancillary benefits.
