Alternate hybrid locations may be considered at Raritan, NJ (USA); West Chester, PA (USA); Palm Beach Gardens, FL (USA); Raritan, NJ (USA).Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.Job OverviewThe Sr. Manager, Warehouse & Distribution provides strategic and operational leadership for warehouse and distribution operations supporting DePuy Synthes' orthopedic portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient distribution of medical devices while driving continuous improvement across service, cost, quality, and delivery performance. The position plays a critical role in enabling patient care by ensuring product availability, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance across the supply chain.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end warehouse and distribution operations, including inbound, storage, picking, packing, and outbound shipment of medical devices.Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and quality requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO, GDP/GMP, internal quality systems).Develop and execute operational strategies to improve service levels, inventory accuracy, productivity, and cost performance.Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, Customer Service, and Commercial teams to align distribution capabilities with business demand.Lead, coach, and develop warehouse management and hourly teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.Own performance management through KPIs, dashboards, and operating reviews; identify risks and implement corrective actions.Oversee third-party logistics (3PL) relationships, including contract management, performance reviews, and issue resolution.Manage budgets and capital planning for warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring cost discipline and return on investment.QualificationsEducationRequired: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.Preferred: Master's degree (MBA or MS) in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Administration.Experience and SkillsTypically 8-12 years of progressive experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations, including people leadership.Demonstrated experience operating in a regulated environment (medical device, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated manufacturing).Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and distribution best practices.Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams and drive performance through change and continuous improvement.Experience managing operational metrics, budgets, and productivity targets.Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.Preferred:Experience supporting global or regional distribution networks.Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodology experience.Experience leading or partnering with third-party logistics providers (3PLs).Familiarity with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP) and advanced analytics tools.Other:Language: English (required).Travel: Up to 50% domestic travel.Certifications: Lean, Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM (preferred).For more information on how we support the whole health of our employees throughout their wellness, career and life journey, please visit www.careers.jnj.com.Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
