Procurement Coordinator

ESD is an established distribution company located in Doral, FL that has an open spot for a Procurement Coordinator. Your main duties include locating key suppliers, negotiating the company’s purchasing agreements and making sure their materials and products meet the company’s specifications. The employee will work in our office so the applicant must live in Miami or nearby. Responsibilities Research suppliers of goods and services. Experience with Asian suppliers is a plus. Gather quotes, proposals, and purchase terms and conditions. Execute the purchase of goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization. Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors. Track inventory and restock goods when needed. Stay up to date on industry trends and new products. Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing. Recommend new products, services, or materials in keeping with industry trends. Checks invoices for accuracy, and authorizes the accounts payable department to issue payment. Evaluates the performance of certain vendors in order to decide whether or not to continue buying from them. Qualifications and Skills Negotiation Excellent communication skills Critical analysis Problem-solving Project Management Education Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or related areas. +2 to 5 years of work experience in procurement. Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
