Assistant Strength And Conditioning Coach
Role DescriptionSTARTING IN AUG/SEPT!This is a part-time on-site role for an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Clark University located in Worcester, MA. The Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach will be responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for student-athletes. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring athletic performance, developing injury prevention strategies, conducting strength training sessions, and supporting the overall athletic development of the students. Time commitment will be around 15hrs per week but this can be flexible if needed and will run for the school year Sept-April.QualificationsRelevant certifications, such as CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) or equivalent.Sports Science and Strength & Conditioning skillsKnowledge of Athletic Performance and Injury Prevention strategiesExperience with Strength Training techniques and methodologiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a team settingBachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Kinesiology, or a related field is preferred
