Meet Our Leadership Team Senior Structural Engineer Job Responsibilities: Manage/Supervise all levels of project engineers, project managers, Field Technicians and project coordinators within the office/region Provides managerial direction and supervisory role to develop, manage, promote, and integrate all aspects of regional department operations to meet client needs and achieve department and company objectives Mentor and develop strong project structural engineering leads and future structural managers emphasizing NB+C culture Serves as the Structural Engineering Subject Matter Expert in cross-functional projects Provide guidance and training to junior level engineers Responsible for accuracy and meeting deadlines on engineering deliverables. Perform/implement QA/QC procedures on all reports and drawings deliverables Perform/manage structural engineering tasks and manage projects as needed Responsible for project's budget and profit & loss management for the regional team Strategically hires and trains staff to meet department goals and objectives Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Structural Engineering with emphasis on Steel, Concrete and Structural Analysis required Master's and/or PhD is a plus PE required, SE License is a plus Must have NCEES active record and ability to get registered in multiple states at any given time 8+ years of related work experience managing multiple projects with progressive growth Knowledge and proficiency in software systems: RISA 3D, Enercalc, tnxTower, AutoCAD & MathCAD is required Experience with analysis and design, with emphasis on constructability and serviceability, with a variety of structural materials, components and systems Extensive technical experience and knowledgeable in Civil, Structural and Geotechnical principles, as well as applicable design guides and standards is required Knowledgeable in industry and technology trends Knowledgeable in construction practices and principles
