HVAC Service Technician

HVAC Technician Location: Garden Grove, CA Department: Service Technician Pay: $65-100K per year (based on experience) Required Experience: 3 years minimum as technician Primary Purpose: We are looking for a motivated HVAC Technician to join our company. As our technician, you will be responsible for the service of residential HVAC units. Technicians will travel to various service calls throughout the day, and each day will be different. You will be interacting with customers daily throughout our service areas. To be successful in this role, you will need to be organized, efficient, and have practical problem-solving skills. You will be interacting with our customers daily, so having patient and respectful behavior is a must as you are representing our company. Responsibilities: (This list may not include all the duties assigned) Demonstrate success in direct owner sales Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Strong presentation skills Establish customer rapport with products and services Form accurate and complete sales proposals Help facilitate post-sale transitions with installation managers and installers Educating prospective customers on the superior quality products/services Participate in training on the latest industry technologies Support team members and peers Basic Position Requirements: Abilities: Excellent mechanical and technical skills Physically able to move items weighing 75 lbs or higher Able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time Possess interpersonal skills to relate to customers and solve issues Reliable and Self Motivated Excellent time management skills Ability to multitask with different, and sometimes conflicting events happening at the same time Ability to relay information in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills to collaborate with others under any type of condition Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice Knowledge: Valid driver’s license High school or equivalent At least three years of experience as an HVAC technician is required Customer Service experience Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating Knowledge of computers and tablet use High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday On call Weekends as needed Experience: HVAC technician: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: EPA Type II (Preferred) Driver's License (Required) Ability to Commute: Garden Grove, CA (Required) Ability to Relocate: Garden Grove, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
