Recreation Specialist - Part-time

We have creative and caring staff who make a difference in the lives of our students each and every day.JOB DUTIES: Organize, promote and monitor a recreation program that includes arts and crafts, sports, games, music, dramatics, social recreation and hobbies both on campus and in the community• Assess interests of students and plan activities accordingly• Oversee operation of recreational facilities and maintain areas• Enforce rules and regulations of recreational facilities to ensure safety• Train and supervise student recreation aidesCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Associate's degree in related field or one year of relevant experience with youth, one year of recreation experience, and valid Minnesota driver's license with an acceptable driving recordWORK SCHEDULE: Part-time working 20 hours per week from 4:00 to 10:30 pm on Wednesday and Thursday and from 5:00 to 11:00 pm on Friday and SaturdayPAY AND BENEFITS: $18.59 per hour plus paid holidays, vacation and sick time
