Engineering Manager (PE Licensed)

Engineering ManagerThe Engineering Manager will lead our engineering department in all mechanical projects. This individual will be accountable for the accuracy and performance of our engineering department and their development and improvement.Duties:Responsible for all engineering and design prepared by staffManage the full-cycle design and layout of design projectsPrepare in-house design and detailed engineering, along with less detailed presentation and conceptual plansPossess knowledge and practice of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systemsProcess required documentation in a timely and accurate mannerServe as the point of contact for outside engineering consultants and vendorsCoordinate the weekly schedule of engineering staff with project managersAttend design meetings with clients and partners, along with pre-construction and post-construction meetingsDevelop, implement, and maintain engineering standardsMentor, train, and develop staff and evaluate staff performanceManage multiple projects varying in scope simultaneouslyDisplay working knowledge of Navisworks, Revit, and AutoCADPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in construction, mechanical, or other related engineering, along with Professional Engineer licensure7+ years' experience in construction, mechanical, or other related engineering fields5 years' experience in a supervisor or manager role, leading a teamDriving record meets company requirementsSuccessful passing of pre-employment drug screening requiredBenefits:Paid time off, including paid holidaysCompany 401K plan with a company matchHealth, dental, vision insurancePaid Bereavement LeaveCritical illness, hospital indemnity, accident, life, and identity insuranceCompany-paid employee assistance program (EAP)Medical and dependent care flex benefits plansSafety boot reimbursement
