In this role, you will focus on building and evolving robust, high-scale backend applications.Job DescriptionDevelop, evolve, and maintain scalable and high-performance back-end applicationsDesign, implement, and maintain robust and secure RESTful APIsEnsure overall code quality by following industry best practices, performance optimization, and writing clean codeCollaborate with front-end and cross-functional teams to integrate services and define data architecturesParticipate actively in agile development workflows, including sprint planning, estimation, and core technical discussionsTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex backend technical issues efficientlyQualificationsMinimum 4/ 5 years of experience in backend development, with solid mastery of Node.js and ExpressJSStrong expertise with relational databases (SQL) and efficient data modelingProven experience in designing, building, and documenting scalable RESTful APIsFamiliarity with containerization technologies, specifically Docker (highly valued)Deep understanding of backend software architecture patterns and engineering best practicesExperience with Git and collaborative version control workflowsStrong analytical, problem-solving skills and a proactive mindsetFluent in English (written and spoken, suited for international environments)Additional InformationThe Devoteam Group works for equal opportunities, promoting its employees based on merit and actively fights against all forms of discrimination.
