VP of Sales | Austin, TX | Industrial Manufacturing & Capital EquipmentPrecision Sales Recruiting is hiring a VP of Sales for an innovative, mission-driven industrial technology company entering a major growth phase.This is a build-and-scale leadership seat, not a caretaker role. The foundation is in place. Your job is to sharpen it, grow the team, and unlock the next stage of revenue. You will report directly to the CEO and hold a seat on the senior leadership team.Our client delivers an on-site industrial recycling solution as a service, helping manufacturers turn a waste stream into reusable material while cutting cost and reducing hazardous waste. The offering is differentiated, genuinely useful, and still new enough that the right leader can shape how its value is told.What you will own:• Lead, coach, and develop a distributed sales team of seven, with a clear mandate to grow it• Own and improve the sales process, messaging, and commercial execution• Serve as a player-coach on the most important enterprise pursuits• Build and deepen channel partner relationships that accelerate growth• Bring strategic insight to a consultative, multi-stakeholder industrial saleThe sale: Strategic industrial B2B, combining equipment and service. Consultative and multi-stakeholder, moving from qualification through an on-site plant meeting to proposal and close, with an average cycle of four to six months. You will sell into mid-market and larger manufacturers and lead a team that does the same.Compensation: Base of $175,000 to $250,000 with a Year 1 on-target of $300,000, depending on profile. The role includes meaningful stock options, positioned to reward a builder who helps create real value as the company scales.Who you are:• A proven leader of B2B industrial sales teams who develops people and builds a winning group• Experienced selling engineered or manufactured products, equipment, or services into OEMs and industrial operations• Comfortable on both the plant floor and at the corporate level. You do not need to be an engineer, but you must be comfortable with engineers and plant leaders• A creative, strategic thinker who can read field signal and adjust where there is no playbook• Roughly 15 years of experience. Exact category match matters less than knowing how industrial customers thinkLocation: Austin, Texas. On-site collaboration with leadership most of the time, with travel to customers and the field around 25 percent.
