This is a great opportunity for drivers who want flexible work while staying connected to the film production world.As an on-call driver, you will help transport equipment between our Philadelphia office, other Expressway locations, and vendor partners. You may occasionally assist with loading or unloading gear and supporting warehouse staff when needed.Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):Truck Driving & DeliveriesSafely operate Expressway's non-CDL sprinter vans and trucks (16-26 ft box trucks)Complete deliveries and pick-ups between Expressway offices, local clients, and sub-vendorsAssist with load-ins and load-outs when requiredExecute occasional transfer runs between other Expressway locationsMaintain basic cleanliness and organization of vehiclesLogistics & SupportCommunicate clearly with warehouse and operations teams regarding delivery timing, issues, and updatesHelp troubleshoot simple in-house vehicle issues (e.g., fluids, wipers, flat tires) when applicableSupport warehouse staff with checking in/out orders when assisting on-site (as needed)Professionalism & Customer ServiceRepresent Expressway respectfully and professionally at all delivery locationsOccasionally interface with customers, vendors, or production crewsUphold Expressway's standards for safety, reliability, and operational excellenceRequirementsValid driver's license (CDL not required; CDL a plus)Confident and competent operating box trucks up to 26 ftAbility to lift, move, and load equipment (typically 50-75 lbs)Strong communication skillsDependable, punctual, and capable of working independentlyExperience in film/video or equipment rental is helpful but not requiredBasic mechanical awareness is a plus (fluids, lights, tires, etc.)Who We're Looking ForWe're open to applicants of all backgrounds and experience levels, as long as you're reliable, safe behind the wheel, and ready to step in when needed.
