Hospitalist Physician

Nocturnist Hospitalist Opportunity Syracuse, New York Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join its established Hospitalist team as a Nocturnist in Syracuse, New York. This position focuses on delivering high-quality overnight inpatient care within a collaborative, physician-led environment with strong specialty support. Position Details: Provide overnight inpatient coverage on a 7 PM 7 AM schedule7-on/7-off rotation with 12-hour shiftsManage admissions and provide ongoing care for hospitalized patientsPerform comprehensive history and physical examinationsProvide closed ICU overnight rounding for Hospitalist patientsMonitor patient status and respond to clinical changesCoordinate discharge planning and follow-up careDocument patient care in EPIC EMRCollaborate with subspecialists and multidisciplinary care teamsRequirements: MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolBoard Certified or Board Eligible (within 2 years) in Internal Medicine or Family MedicineActive New York medical license or willingness to obtainActive DEA registrationClean malpractice and license historyCurrent NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentationPrior hospitalist experience requiredAdditional Notes: Position is not open to locum candidatesVisa sponsorship is not availableWork within a supportive and collegial hospitalist team with strong subspecialty backup
