IT Technician

A Dallas IT computer systems and solutions company is looking to hire an experienced technician Mon-Fri 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. We are a professional IT company serving north Dallas' small businesses computer support needs. Applicant must: * Pass background check * Excellent professionalism and customer service * Have 3 or more years experience * Have effective communication skills * Be able to install, configure, test and troubleshoot both software and hardware * Perform equipment upgrades * Have a working knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office * Have basic networking skills * Have server experience * Have OWN transportation (you are reimbursed for gas/toll expenses) If you share a car or borrow one, please DO NOT apply. Also, must be proficient in the following areas: * Active Directory * Domain Structure * VPN setup and administration * Virus removal * Operating system installation and repair * E-mail configuration and setup * Data migration * We are requiring a written test for every applicant interested. Must have experience troubleshooting email (exchange, google, yahoo, Outlook), printers, routers, internet connections, Microsoft Programs, Viruses, and building computers. I must stress again, we do onsite service, so travel is a MUST, as well as being efficient and on time. Job Type: Full-time or Part-time depending on workload Compensation: $13/hr.
