Job title: Contracts Manager Location: Mentor, OHDirect Hire/ Permanent roleRole OverviewLeads contract management activities across two sites, responsible for negotiation, administration, and compliance of contracts in a manufacturing (preferably aerospace) environment, with strong focus on new program awards (NPI) and customer interaction.Key ResponsibilitiesLead contract negotiations (T&Cs, NDAs, product agreements)Manage contract lifecycle: proposal → execution → change controlAssess and mitigate contractual risk (cost, compliance, performance)Ensure compliance with regulations and export requirementsSupport new product introduction (NPI) and new awardsLead cross-functional coordination (programs, engineering, supply chain)Oversee team performance across two locationsManage customer and government-facing interactionsKey Requirements7+ years in contracts management within manufacturingStrong negotiation and contract interpretation skillsExperience with complex contracts and new awardsKnowledge of export compliance and regulatory frameworksBackground in aerospace or electronics manufacturing preferredProven team leadership and stakeholder managementIdeal CandidateA hands-on contracts leader with strong commercial judgment, able to manage risk, lead negotiations, support NPI programs, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, customer-facing manufacturing environment.
