Currently we are searching for a Controller to fulfill an immediate need.This individual will be responsible for:Lead the full-cycle month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.Oversee and develop the accounting department, providing leadership, mentorship, and accountability while driving process improvements and operational excellence.Research and apply complex technical accounting guidance, ensuring compliance with GAAP, company policies, and evolving accounting standards.Manage key accounting functions including payroll, union benefits accounting, acquisition accounting, debt covenant reporting, and other strategic financial initiatives.Direct the annual audit process, serving as the primary liaison with external auditors while ensuring compliance with internal controls, lender requirements, and private equity reporting standards.Ad hoc work as neededWe are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:Blended public accounting & industry experience (5+ years)CPA is preferredExperience with project-based accountingExperience from a private equity environmentIf your background, skills, and interest match the following; please apply online to ensure your credentials are reviewed by a skilled recruiter immediately and also email your resume to Caitlin Clothier at cclothier@rezultgroup.com.We look forward to working with you on this opportunity.
