Drafter

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for an Entry Level Drafting Position. This role is ideal for recent graduates or those looking to start their career in drafting and design. Can work around college classes to some extent if you are close to graduating. The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering and design teams to create accurate and detailed drawings that support various projects in construction and mechanical design. Must have training with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Word, and Excel.There is potential for overtime and some travel.ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed fabrication drawings from 3D models.Create Bill of MaterialsNesting parts for drawings. (Training is no issue with nesting software.)QualificationsMust have strong basic math skills.Must know how to read a tape measure.Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.A degree or coursework in drafting, engineering technology, architecture, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.Willingness to learn new software tools and techniques relevant to the industry.
