Feed Mill Superintendent

Job Opportunity: Feed Mill Superintendent Location: Warren, IN About Us: Join our growing feed mill business, where hard work and efficiency are key to our success. As a working manager, you will lead by example, taking an active role in day-to-day operations while managing the team. Key Responsibilities: Actively participate in daily production operations while managing the team Review and maintain production records Schedule feed production to meet customer demand Manage inventory of feed ingredients and order supplies as needed Pull Samples for test and review feed/grain quality to ensure standards are met Coordinate employee shifts Evaluate and optimize operating procedures Set and uphold quality assurance standards Stay current on industry technology and implement process improvements Train new employees and provide ongoing development opportunities Ensure all employees are trained in safety protocols and stay up to date on safety standards Maintain and service equipment, including loaders, scales, and filling equipment Qualifications: Proven leadership and hands-on management experience Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and fix equipment issues Willingness to work in a dirty, dusty environment Ability to work at heights when needed Experience in quality control, and safety standards Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong problem-solving abilities and leadership Experience in inventory management Proficiency in managing production schedules and employee shifts Knowledge of feed/grain production processes is a plus What We Offer: Competitive wage based on experience Opportunities for growth and development within the company A collaborative and supportive work environment Ongoing training to keep up with industry best practices Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week Schedule: Day shift Evenings as needed Extended hours Weekends as needed License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Forklift Certification (Preferred) Location: Warren, IN 46792 (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Warren, IN 46792 (Required) Work Location: In person
