This role is responsible for modernizing and maintaining server operating systems in compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF requirements, and DISA STIGs while enabling scalable IaaS and PaaS capabilities across classified and unclassified environments.What You'll DoDesign, deploy, harden, and maintain enterprise Windows Server and Linux operating systemsImplement and sustain Active Directory, Group Policy, LDAP, DNS, PKI, and identity servicesApply and validate DISA STIGs, SCAP scans, and RMF security controlsAutomate system provisioning, patching, and configuration managementSupport OS lifecycle sustainment, modernization, and upgrade effortsParticipate in Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and technical change reviewsTroubleshoot complex OS level issues across virtualized and physical systemsDevelop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and system diagramsCollaborate with cybersecurity, network, and virtualization teamsSupport audits, inspections, and Security Readiness Reviews (SRRs)QualificationsMinimum of 8 years of experience supporting enterprise Windows and Linux server environmentsHands on experience with Windows Server 2019 or later and RHEL 8 or laterExperience implementing RMF, DISA STIGs, SCAP, and DoD 8500/8510 requirementsStrong experience with Active Directory, GPOs, WSUS, LDAP, DNS, and PKIProficiency with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent)Security+ certification (DoD 8570/8140 compliant)Preferred QualificationsMicrosoft or Red Hat intermediate level or higher server certificationExperience with Red Hat Satellite, Ansible Automation Platform, or Red Hat IdMExperience supporting VMware based enterprise environmentsFamiliarity with DoD cloud or hybrid infrastructure deployments
