Job Summary The Chief Building Engineer serves as the on-site engineering leader with full accountability for the delivery of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) services, including hard services, critical infrastructure, and advanced liquid cooling systems supporting high-density compute environments. This role provides technical leadership, team management, and operational oversight to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient facility performance. Schedule Monday - Friday 11:00pm - 7:00am Key Responsibilities:Oversee the safety of all operating equipment within the facilityDevelop and train all staff in plant and emergency proceduresHandle the procurement of all repair parts for routine preventative, and emergency repairsDevelop and maintain relationships with vendorsDevelop a plant wide Preventative maintenance schedule for all building, process equipment, and all plant utilitiesMaintain the departmental budget with focus on parts, supplies and labor managementAssure compliance with all wastewater and emissions standardsOversee outside contractors in the repairs and upkeep of plant equipmentAvailable for off-site, plants startups and special projects Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering or military experience is preferredAbility to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentationsAbility to multi-task and establish prioritiesAbility to maintain organization in a changing environmentExhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadershipMust be capable of reading electrical schematics, mechanical, and plumbing blue printsProficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookGood working knowledge all aspects of plant maintenance to include but not limited to; Electrical, Boilers, Hydraulics, Compressed Air, Mechanical Equipment Apply to ESFM Services today!
