3rd shift Machine Technicians

Local company seeking out Machine Technicians all shifts. Immediate opening! Long term, full time opportunity available! *Machine Technician Duties:* * The Machine Technician must be proficient in the basic operation of card conversion cell equipment. * Operator will load, and operate all equipment in a card cell and make basic machine adjustments as required. * Will be proficient in changing wrapper film and tear tape and in making minor adjustments to the slitting knives and in making tooling adjustments on the Ruge & Singer which includes changing chisels and anvils when required to maintain cut quality. * Performs simple repairs and makes changes to set-up parameters in order to compensate for changes in material and sheet registration. * Assists in set-up activities which includes but is not limited to changing cutter shafts, ME tooling and adjusting conveyors, scales, guides, rails and setting feeder and machine parameters. * Maintains Production, Quality, Safety and TPM standards. * Maintains accurate records, generates required production/safety/quality documents and performs good receipt activities in SAP. * Performs material handling duties required to support the card conversion processes. * Trains new card conversion operators as required. * Must communicate effectively with team members and with Supervision/Group Leader.
